Stunning French Empire Ornate Ormolu Antique Double Bedroom Suite

Not an absolute match in terms of the decorative features but the wood and inlay matches really well, and overall they sit really well together. Would guess the date at late C19th early C20th for all pieces.

Includes

Large French Empire Mahogany Antique Armoire. Has three large interior shelves spanning the width of Armoire and one interior drawer. It is a good height so perfect for rooms with high ceilings. It has distinctive Ormolu detail and a beautiful grain to the burr walnut veneer with elm inlay. Original mirror in good condition. Shelved throughout with lots of good storage and useful internal drawer. This armoire knocks down completely for easy access. There is no key. The doors open and close well. One of the middle hinges on one door is missing half of it, but it still works fine on just the top and bottom hinge and does not affect the integrity of the door or the look of the Armoire. Walnut veneer and inlay looks good overall.

Burr Walnut Double bedframe with some red wood trim ( this is the only feature not common to all three pieces ). Takes a standards 4'6" mattress, with slats ready to take the mattress. Please note due to the shape of the footboard there will be a gap between the end of the mattress and the curved end of the footboard. Few small chips to the veneer in places but we have put some dark wax on them so they doan't shout out.

Marble Top Pot Cupboard

Lovely grey marble top in Good condition. Interior with some marble is a bit worn and tired looking. Walnut a little faded compared to the other pieces but still a great match - shame there's only one though. We have had a couple of these before so they do come up from time to time.
